In the meantime, you can still hope for it to come but instead of searching endlessly for the miraculous cure, do some proactive measures instead that can stop ears’ ringing. Here are some of the things you could do:

1. Start wearing hearing aids configured to your hearing impairment. It would be best to seek an ear specialist who will assist you in getting the right kind of hearing aid. This is to ensure that the device will amplify the external sounds that you need to hear. This then will allow you to ignore the tinnitus noise instead of expecting a cure that will stop ears from ringing.

2. If you cannot avoid being in places where there are excessively loud noises that aggravate your tinnitus disorder, start wearing ear plugs to protect your ears. The ringing sound is an indication that some part of your auditory system has been damaged. Allowing loud sounds to continuously invade your distressed ear will only cause further damage.

3. Avoid excessive intakes of stimulants that will encourage your hearing sensation. This will only intensify the sound that you hear as a result of your tinnitus disorder. Stimulants referred to are nicotine, aspirins, decongestants, alcohol and caffeine.  You cannot expect to stop ears from ringing if you insist in taking in these substances.

4. Get into some form of exercise to help with your blood circulation. You may have become less active ever since you started having the tinnitus sounds in your ear. However, a sedentary lifestyle will aggravate your tinnitus disorder since lack of activity will only cause your blood pressure to rise. Stay fit by eating a healthy diet and engaging in some form of exercise to maintain proper blood circulation.

Rather than go through all the ineffective treatments and therapies to stop ears from ringing, take some preventive measures instead to protect your ears from further damage.
